The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce & Esther D. Nixon Library present the Jacksonville Chili Cook-Off on Thursday, January 23rd. The competition will take place from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the library, located at 703 W. Main Street in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Parks and Recreation is hosting the 1st Annual Cupid Shuffle 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, February 8th from 8am – 11am. Dupree Park's course (3.1 miles) is USATF Certified and will take participants through the city of Jacksonville.

Ready or not, it's Halloween time! Jacksonville's annual Halloween event, Trunk or Treat, will take place on Thursday, October 31st at Dupree Park from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

The 7th annual Dub Myers Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 13th at Southern Oaks Country Club in Jacksonville. The event begins with lunch and tee time is at 1:00 p.m.
